Do you love roller coasters and amusement parks? Are you always seeking the adrenaline rush and thrill of a good ole’ fashioned roller coaster and the unforgettable feeling of your stomach dropping out as you come barreling down the biggest drop of the ride? Well, then you’re going to love what we have in store for you. Next up on the Juggernaut Bucket List is none other than the world’s steepest roller coaster.
Takabisha was official certified as the world’s steepest roller coaster in 2011 clocking in with an angle of 121 degrees and to this day still holds the record. The entire roller coast is a single 8 passenger vehicle coaster and promises a “most horrible” experience no matter where you sit! The roller coaster is almost 3,000 feet long and only takes about 2 seconds to reach its maximum speed of 62 miles per hour.
Takabisha debuted in July of 2011 drawing massive crowds of thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies from all over the world. The experience is truly unlike anything you’ve ever experienced at your local amusement park. The roller coaster is showcased with sudden acceleration and unsuspecting twists and turns (7 in total) alongside it's main attraction of the biggest drop in roller coaster history at 121 degrees countered by a sudden fast rise up to the sky with a beautiful view of Mount Fuji ( if skies are clear). A once in a lifetime ride for those seeking to do what less than 1% of the population will get to experience in their life.
Are you in for the ride? Live it, be happy, enjoy life.
